Similar group of people.Īgreed on people throwing away perfectly good machines. This type of thing goes on all the time on the MC board. I saw you were in Daytona and the thought hit, hey, I owe that guy a beer for his help on this and I'll be down there in March. That also is where I got the thought to buy you a brew. Some dude may come along and have the same prob, well, here's the solution. Yup on the Tecumseh fix! Matter of fact, that is why I will post the solution for this. Its unbelieveable how much equiptment i`ve thrown in the back of my truck from the curb on garbage day and had running 30 mins later over such little problems. When do you come to Daytona? Bike week?Let me know.

#Briggs and stratton pulsa jet carburetor troubleshooting generator
The last one i changed was in a briggs powered generator that was used daily for 8 years on construction sites so dont plan on changing it yearly. The bigest problem with that setup is if someone leaves old gas over extended storage without fuel stabilizer or draining the tank. The little screens on the suction pipes get varnished up and plugged so put some STABIL fuel additive if its gonna sit a few months.I`m suprised! the Tecumseh fix i posted a couple months back is the one you were referring to in your orriginal post? thats a real coincidence. If so i`m glad it helped i hate to see people throw perfectly good machines away over such a little hole blocked that dissables the motor. Hey LD i didnt mean to put in question the motives of the gent from the MC forum, i was half asleep last night reading the post and thought someone was playing with ya when you were seriously asking for advice. My misjudgement. As far as worrying about having more problems with the diaphragm in the carb again i have found them to be pretty reliable.
